Thermodynamics of the evaporation of scandium trifluoride and the composition of its vapor
Based on the critical analysis of the experimental and theoretical data on the structure and vibrational frequencies of dimeric scandium trifluoride, the molecular constant values of the $\rm Sc_2\rm F_6$ compound are chosen and its thermodynamic functions are calculated. The scandium trifluoride vapor composition is calculated in the temperature range of $1200$ to $1825$ K. The enthalpies of sublimation and formation of the scandium trifluoride monomer and dimer are determined according to the third law of thermodynamics. The values obtained are added to the IVTANTHERMO software package database.
