Thermophysical properties of fine-grain MPG-$7$ graphite with chemical and structural heterogeneity
Annotation
The thermal diffusivity of MPG-$7$ grade graphite samples with a density of $1802$ to $1869$ kg/m$^3$ was measured using the temperature wave method with chemical and structural heterogeneity in the temperature range from $600$ to $1700$ K. Based on the obtained results, the temperature dependences of the thermal conductivity are calculated, which allow to estimate the thermal conductivity of MPG-$7$ graphite depending on the type of its defectiveness (chemical and structural heterogeneities). It is shown that the observed differences in the values of the thermal conductivity of MPG-$7$ graphite, depending on the type of its defectiveness, can be associated with the electron contribution to the overall process of energy transfer.
