An Acoustic Method of Investigation of the Process of Boiling
Annotation
A method is theoretically substantiated and developed for the investigation of the dynamics of variation of the volume of a vapor bubble by the sound pulse it generates and for the determination of the quantitative characteristics of such dynamics by the parameters of this pulse. Cases of boiling under conditions of saturation and subcooling are treated. A fairly high accuracy of the suggested method is demonstrated, and concrete examples of its application are given.
