The bulk properties of $\mathrm{Pd}$–$\mathrm{Si}$ alloys at temperatures from room temperature to $1600^\circ$C
The absolute method of penetrating gamma radiation is used to measure the temperature dependences of density of $\mathrm{Pd}$–$\mathrm{Si}$ alloys containing $11$ to $33$ at.$\%\,\mathrm{Si}$ in the range from room temperature to $1600^\circ$C. The resultant data are used for determining the liquidus and solidus temperatures of investigated alloys, the variation of their density in melting, and pre-crystallization cooling which corresponds to the cooling rate of $2^\circ$C/min.
