The bulk properties of PdSi alloys at temperatures from room temperature to 1600C
Annotation
The absolute method of penetrating gamma radiation is used to measure the temperature dependences of density of PdSi alloys containing 11 to 33 at.%Si in the range from room temperature to 1600C. The resultant data are used for determining the liquidus and solidus temperatures of investigated alloys, the variation of their density in melting, and pre-crystallization cooling which corresponds to the cooling rate of 2C/min.
