The bulk properties of Pd–Si alloys at temperatures from room temperature to 1600∘C
Annotation
The absolute method of penetrating gamma radiation is used to measure the temperature dependences of density of Pd–Si alloys containing 11 to 33 at.%Si in the range from room temperature to 1600∘C. The resultant data are used for determining the liquidus and solidus temperatures of investigated alloys, the variation of their density in melting, and pre-crystallization cooling which corresponds to the cooling rate of 2∘C/min.
