The Thermodynamic Properties of n-Tetradecane in Liquid State
Annotation
Based on the sound velocity data, a grid algorithm is used to calculate the thermodynamic properties of a liquid. The density, isobaric expansion coefficient, isothermal compressibility, isobaric and isochoric heat capacities, enthalpy and entropy of liquid n-tetradecane were calculated in the ranges of temperature from 293 to 433 K and pressure from 0.1 to 140 MPa. The coefficients of the Tate equation are determined in the above-identified range of parameters. A table of the thermodynamic properties of n-tetradecane is presented.
