Thermodynamically Consistent Calculation of the Debye Temperature Using Thermophysical Data
Annotation
Equations are obtained which must be satisfied by the temperature dependence of the Debye temperature $(\Theta(T))$ so that the thermodynamic functions calculated on its basis would satisfy both the third principle of thermodynamics and the law of equipartition of energy over degrees of freedom. A general expression for the function $(\Theta(T))$ is obtained, which satisfies these thermodynamic regularities.
