Countercurrent flow of gas and water in perforated plates
Annotation
An experimental investigation is performed of countercurrent flow of steam and water through perforated plates in the pressure range $P=0.6-4.0$ MPa. An equation is suggested that describes the correlation between the countercurrent flow rates under conditions of “flooding.” The experimental results are compared with the data of previous studies. The effect of the geometric and process parameters on the processes involved is treated.
