Heats of sublimation for cadmium diiodide and dibromide and the diffusion cross section in the $\mathrm{CdI}_2$–$\mathrm{Ar}$ system
Knudsen's and Langmuir's methods have been used to measure the saturation vapor pressures of cadmium diiodide and dibromide, for which the heats of sublimation have been derived. Cadmium dibromide decomposes above $680$ K. Measurements on the diffusion of cadmium iodide in argon are discussed.
