Thermal properties of mercury on the basis of model potentials
Annotation
Calculation tools for the second and third virial coefficients and collision integrals are developed on the basis of model potentials. Five model potentials are considered and analyzed for mercury. By the model potential selected from them, the second and third virial coefficients are calculated for mercury vapor. The additive and nonadditive components in the third virial coefficient are taken into account. Viscosity and heat conductivity of the rarefied vapor are calculated by collision integrals on the basis of the selected model potential.
