A fractal model of melt viscosity of a polypropylene-carbon nanotube nanocomposite
The change in the melt viscosity of polypropylene-carbon nanotube nanocomposites upon variation in the nanofiller content has been studied. It has been shown that the continuous models developed to describe the polymer composites melt viscosity cannot describe this parameter in the case of nanocomposites. A correct description of the rheological properties of such composites can be made in terms of a fractal model of viscous flow.
