Radiating power of air, N2, and CO2 at temperature about 10,000∘ K
Annotation
Suction of plasma was used between electrodes of arc discharge to obtain pure plasma column, without electrode materials; at about 10,000∘ K radiation spectrum from 0.2 to 3 U was analyzed for discharges in air, N2, and CO2; integrated radiated power was calculated; for discharge in air estimation was made of visible spectral region contribution to integral radiation power.
