Joule–Thompson effect in cesium vapor
Annotation
Measurements of the Joule–Thomson coefficient in cesium vapor near the saturation line in the ranges of 7681234 K and 07.9×105 Pa are made for the first time. The method and the trend of the measurements are described. A mathematical analysis of the results is carried out. Dependences of the Joule–Thomson coefficient on the temperature and the pressure are obtained. Their results are compared with values obtained from the PVT data of other investigators and with the calculated data available in the literature.
