Joule–Thompson effect in cesium vapor
Measurements of the Joule–Thomson coefficient in cesium vapor near the saturation line in the ranges of $768$–$1234$ K and $\sim 0$–$7.9 \times 10^5$ Pa are made for the first time. The method and the trend of the measurements are described. A mathematical analysis of the results is carried out. Dependences of the Joule–Thomson coefficient on the temperature and the pressure are obtained. Their results are compared with values obtained from the $PVT$ data of other investigators and with the calculated data available in the literature.
