Analysis of heat-conduction data for alkali-metal vapor, taking into account the temperature discontinuity for a chemically reacting gas
Annotation
Experimental heat-conduction data for sodium vapor are analyzed, taking into account the theory of the temperature discontinuity at the gas – solid boundary for a dissociating gas. It is shown that this type of analysis explains certain peculiarities of the thermal conductivity and introduces a modification to the calculated values of the monomer – monomer and monomer – dimer interaction cross sections.
