Facility for integrated studies of thermophysical characteristics of electrically conducting materials by the method of subsecond resistance heating
Annotation
An experimental facility for the investigation of temperature dependence of the thermophysical properties of structural materials is described. The enthalpy, heat capacity, electrical resistance, and integral and spectral emissivities are determined under conditions of heating modes with rates of the order of $10^3$–$10^4$ K/s. Special attention is given to the problems of optimization of geometry and size of samples depending on the concrete investigation problem.
