Gold nanoparticles modification by femtosecond laser pulses in the air
In this paper we report the experimental data on modification and destruction of gold nanorods under action of single infrared femtosecond laser pulses in case of plasmon resonance at laser wavelength. The data on laser energy density, at which the shape of gold nanorods laid on silicon substrate changes in air conditions, is presented.
