Thermal conductivity and diffusivity of binary alloys of the ZrCZrB2 system at high temperatures
Annotation
This paper investigates the thermal conductivity and the diffusivity of binary alloys of the ZrCZrB2 system over the entire range of composition, of the alloys HfCHfB2 and TaCTaB2 of eutectic composition, and also samples of ZrC and ZrB2 obtained by methods of chemical-phase deposition and sintering. It is shown that grain-boundary scattering of phonons can play an appreciable role, even at high temperatures.
