Solution of the one-dimensional transfer equation in an absorbing and radiating gas by the method of discrete angular subdivision
The problem of radiative heat transfer between plane jets of absorbing and radiating gas moving at constant speed is solved by the method of discrete angular subdivision of the one-dimensional transfer equation. It is shown that the use of a small number of angular zones gives good accuracy and short computation time.
