Efficacy of separation of a pourable material
Annotation
A method is developed for evaluating the efficacy of separation processes designed to produce $n$ components from a single material, based on the principles of information theory in relation to evaluation of the composition of a pourable material. And we also will propose a method for determining the succession of separation boundaries and process parameters that will assure maximum efficacy of classification of a given material into $n$ components. Those methods are applicable on any types of classifiers.
