III International Conference «Modern Problems in Thermophysics and Energetics»

Third International Conference "Modern Problems in Thermophysics and Energetics" just finished at Moscow Power Engineering Institute. This year, the conference was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of MPEI foundation.

October 19th to October 23rd, lectures and round tables were carried out on the following themes: hydrodynamics and heat and mass transfer; plasma physics and plasma technologies; properties of working media in energetics; increasing effeciency, reliability and safety of power equipment at thermal power plants and nuclear power plants. The conference was prepared and carried out with the help of Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences, National Commitеe on Heat and Mass Transfer of RAS, Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Institute of Thermal and Nuclear Energetics of MPEI.

The best papers will be published in the special issue of "Thermal Engineering" journal.
