Electrical resistivity of zirconium in the vicinity of melting: Experiment and first-principles calculation
Annotation
The article presents data on the electrical resistivity of zirconium in the solid and liquid states in the vicinity of melting, obtained in experiments with pulsed current heating of zirconium wires, as well as in calculations by quantum molecular dynamics using the Kubo–Greenwood formula. The influence of hafnium impurities on the calculation and measurement results is analyzed.
