Development and studies of switching heat-transfer joints of a thermoelectric generator and collector packages of a thermionic converter
Annotation
Data from methodological development works that were intended for studying the thermal resistance and electric characteristics of the insulating layer of a multilayer metal–ceramic composite, which is used to produce switching heat-transfer joints of a cylindrical module of a thermoelectric generator and the collector packages of electrogenerating channels of a thermionic generator, are presented. The experimental results are presented of studies performed at the minimum value of the insulating layer thickness (0.2 mm) of a metal–ceramic composite in the following system: SB1 alloy (Nb+1%Zr)–Al2O3–SB1 alloy (Nb+1%Zr), which is formed using the technique of plasma deposition of ceramics with subsequent gas-static pressing at high values of the inert gas temperature and pressure in an autoclave.
