Laser Doppler anemometry of "gas–solid particles" heterogeneous flows: problems, advances, prospects
The possibilities of using laser Doppler anemometers (LDAs) to study the characteristics of flows of gas with solid particles are described. Some results of measurements of the parameters of both phases of heterogeneous flow are given. The priority avenues for further studies into the structure of turbulent heterogeneous flows are identified.
