Determination of the vapor pressure and rate of evaporation of thin layers of highly superheated liquids
Annotation
The paper deals with one of the possible interpretations of empirical relationships suggested previously for the description of the kinetics of evaporation to the atmosphere of thin layers of liquids placed on impermeable substrates preheated to a constant temperature. This heating technique enables one to attain a high degree of superheating above the temperature of "liquid–vapor" equilibrium phase transition and approach the neighborhood of spinodal. It is suggested to introduce corrections for prespinodal restrictions into calculation relations.
