Thermal conductivity of graphite in the basal plane
The thermal conductivity of graphite in the approximation of disconnected layers is calculated without the introduction of matching parameters. The temperatures at which phonon-phonon collisions may be considered as the principal scattering mechanism are examined. The part played by individual branches of the vibration spectrum in heat transfer and scattering is analyzed.
