Integral degrees of blackness for nonferrous metals and some refractories
Changes of blackness values during gradual heating are studied. A measurement method and results are given for the integral degree of blackness for brass, copper, and certain alloys turned to various degrees of finish and also after casting during heating at $350$–$700$ deg/h. The results are plotted in graphs.
