High-frequency pressure oscillations in a pipe carrying a surface-boiling flow
The physical effects responsible for the inception of high-intensity acoustic oscillations in pipes and ducts carrying boiling heat-transfer media are analyzed. The influence of the heat flux and other variables characterizing nucleate boiling on the properties of a liquid in a duct with underheating sound is radiated by a coupled oscillatory system.
