Flow boundaries of a steam-water mixture with intensive drop condensation
The regions of regimes within which intensive precipitation of drops from the nucleus into a film occurs are determined by solving the motion equation for a drop exposed to turbulent pulsations of vapor in the nucleus, taking into account results on the motion of drops in a boundary region. It is demonstrated that the critical vapor content under these conditions depends on the rate of irrigation of the wall by the drops.
