Study of the ionization of the additive in MHD installations
Annotation
The time-varying processes underlying the behavior of a drop of aqueous $\rm K_2\rm CO_3$ solution in the circuit of an MHD generator and their influence on the conductivity of the system are considered. Some experimental data relating to the evaporation of water from a $50\%$ aqueous solution of $\rm K_2\rm CO_3$ in drop form are presented. The evaporation of a $\rm K_2\rm CO_3$ melt is considered with due allowance for chemical reactions taking place in the boundary layer.
