Interpretation of temperature-dependence of thermal and electric-conductivity in transition-metals at high-temperatures
Annotation
Basic concepts of the Mott model are used to elucidate the features of the temperature dependence of thermal conductivity, electric resistance, and the Lorentz number. The concept of the effective density of states in these processes is introduced. Relations are obtained between the temperature derivatives of the thermal and electrical conductivity.
