Simulation of heat and mass transfer in a cylindrical evaporator of a loop heat pipe with a rectangular interface
Annotation
TThe problem of stationary heat and mass transfer in a cylindrical evaporator of a loop heat pipe with a thermal interface having the form of a rectangular parallelepiped with a heat source located at one of its large surfaces has been considered. Numerical simulation of thermal processes in the system under consideration has been carried out at different heat flux densities. Data on the temperature distribution in the evaporator and the thermal interface have been obtained. An analysis of the temperature nonuniformity at the interface heating surface and the intensity of evaporation of the working fluid into the vapor removal channels of the evaporator has been carried out.
