The impact of relaxation on the damping of high-frequency temperature fluctuations arising in tungsten under periodic pulsed laser heating
The possibility is considered of employing periodic pulsed lasers for the investigation of relaxation processes in solids. Results are given of measurements of temperature dependence of the coefficient of damping of high-frequency temperature oscillation in thin tungsten samples.
