Simulation of internal heat transfer in a porous permeable envelope at low values of Reynolds number
Annotation
A slotted porous layer is used as an example for performing direct numerical simulation of internal heat transfer in a porous envelope under conditions of low values of Reynolds number and significant impact of longitudinal thermal conductivity. Comparison is made with the results of calculation using the porous-disperse model. Analysis is performed of the pattern of transition from convective to convective-conductive heat transfer and further to the mode of thermal conductivity from a porous body to surrounding continuous medium.
