Calculation of the electrical conductivity of liquid aluminum, copper, and molybdenum
Annotation
The electrical conductivity of aluminum, copper, and molybdenum is calculated using the Ziman theory of liquid metals and modified Ashcroft potential. The Ashcroft potential is modified so as to take into account the change in the ion charge during transitions from liquid to hypercritical phase. The results of this study are compared to the results of calculations and experiments performed by other authors.
