Ion Composition of Saturated Vapor of Salt Systems: Calculation of the Work Function and Ion Pressure
Annotation
The quantitative relationship of pressure (activity a) of alkali metals M and the work function ϕ of the effusion chamber inner surface, ϕ=ϕ(M)−kTlna(M), is studied. The experimental data on the pressure values of ions proved that the equation can be applied in practice.
